Rollerblading

I like rollerblading. I have a pair of blue rollerblades with silver trimmings. My rollerbladers were bought by my parents as my birthday present. My old blades too lousy because they are not very smooth. My present blades are much faster as the wheels are very smooth. I can go pretty fast, I think about 2m per second. Which is about 10km/h. Unfortunately or fortunately, I lost my old gears that can protects me. I got new gears to protect myself. I really use my protection gears and they really protect me when I fall down.

Learning journey to Changi Airport

Last Wednesday I went to Changi Airport my class. We took a bus there. I sat in the first seat because I felt it's the nicest place to sit. Then Mr Yazid sat beside me. We were told to behave ourselves.

We reached there after 25 minutes on the bus. Then we had to take our cameras out to take photos of our groups. Calvert was very funny, he used his raincoat hood to cover his eyes , then he put his glasses in front of his hood to look like Spiderman. Everybody in our group had a good laugh.

Eusebius and I interviewed the Customer Service Agent. We found out she checks in luggages and issues boarding pass to travelling passengers. She has been working there for one year. Then Eusebius asked her how to spell 'customer service agent', she said,"One more question, then need to pay her money."

After that we boarded the Skytrain to Terminal 3 and we took some photos of the control tower along the way. Then we reached Terminal 3. Then we saw the special sculptures. There are 2 sculptures, one fat one and one skinny one. After that, Mr Yazid showed us a place we couldn't go because it is not public and it is only for travellers. Then Mr Yazid told us the job of a bellman. A bellman is someone who helps to carry the luggages.

After that we went for recess. We had our recess near a fountain. Then Zhi Yuan shared the two packets of potato chips with the whole class except his group. Megan's mummy gave out the 'Lexus' cheese biscuits to us. Kelly's mummy gave us biscuits too. After our recess, we continued to walk and Mr Yazid showed us the food court called Kopitiam. Then we went upstairs to the viewing gallery. Mr Yazid brought us to 4th storey and I took pictures of the trolleys because there are so many! Then Mr Yazid told us a story about the airport. Kenzi was very funny because he read it like in Star Wars.

Then it was almost time to go back to school because it was already 5 o'clock. Andy took a sweet from the counter, then I went too. Almost every boy went to take the sweet too. It's a fox sweet and now I feel like eating it too.

Then we boarded the bus to go back to school.

Yellow-Green Belt TKD grading

This Sunday I am going to TKD grading. This is my fourth time taking the grading test. I still remember when I take my first grading i felt quite nervous. this time i feel that it is going to be very easy :-) , I feel confident to take the grading.

OSIM Triathlon 2008

I took part in the OSIM triathlon 2008 on 12th July. It was held in East Coast Park. This is the second time I am taking part. My mother helped me to sign up for it.

There is three part to the triathlon - swimming for 100m , cycling 5km and lastly running 1km. I came in 25th for the category with more than 100 kids participating in the 7-9 year old category.

This year, I have a bike that have several gear ratio to allow you to change the speed of your bike. I will participate again next year and better my results.

The most tough part was the running since it is the last part of the triathlon and I feel very tired running the 1km. The easiest I must say is the cycling.

the red cliff movie

Last night i went to watch a movie 'Red Cliff' with my parents at Junction 8 Golden Village. I bought a pack of salted popcorn and coke, and it comes with a free note stand. Then we still hadik to wait for 5 minutes before we could enter the theater.

When I went into the theater, I watched some advertisements and trailers before the show started. The show is in Mandarin, I was worried I couldn't understand well. When the show started, it showed a man holding a bird, and then they began to fight because the enemies came to fight with them.

The show was very long. It was more than two hours long! There were lots of fighting scenes. I got confused along the show and I asked my papa, who is sitting next to me, who are the good guys and bad guys. He explained to me in a soft voice. I have read this story before but the real story is longer than the show.

The show ended with "To be continued", and I was very annoyed because I felt they should show the whole show in one seating. But I still enjoyed the movie.

Then we went home. It was already 11.03pm
